A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD) and a Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institute (FLPI),  She held senior roles including HR Director at ebookers.com, HR & OD Director at Virgin Holidays—where she was renowned for building high-performing teams that achieved numerous industry awards—and Group HR Director at the mutual organisation OneFamily in financial services. She has also worked with Virgin Atlantic and BA Travel Shops earlier in her career.

In recent years, Terri has thrived as an independent consultant, taking on interim Chief People Officer (CPO) and HR Director roles across diverse sectors. Her assignments focus on aligning business strategy with impactful people initiatives, talent optimisation, and cultural transformation. She leverages Predictive Index psychometric tools to drive informed talent decisions.

Terri's expertise and client-centric approach have earned her significant recognition. She won the Southern Enterprise Award for Best HR Consultancy Services Provider in the South East in 2021, 2022, and 2023. In 2023, she was a finalist for the Women in Business Award for small businesses. These accolades reflect her deep commitment to understanding clients' businesses and delivering tailored, effective solutions.

Beyond her professional achievements, Terri is an accomplished Executive Coach and Mentor. She has volunteered extensively, serving as a Mentor for the Aspire Foundation, as Chairman of a youth charity for many years, and as an expert Guest Advisor for the 'Women Like Us' website—providing guidance on work/life balance and aligning professional and personal goals. She has also contributed to education as an advisory board member for the Institute of Travel & Tourism and Leeds Metropolitan University, influencing Masters and Bachelors programmes in travel qualifications.

Terri has presented at conferences on topics including Values and Culture, Employee Engagement, Wellbeing and their direct links to outstanding Customer Service.
